Try-Out Policy
How It Works
At Bayer Flute, we understand that customers want to be sure they are making the right purchase before committing. That's why we offer a try-out program for our wooden flute headjoints.
We allow customers to try up to three headjoints for a period of ten days, starting from the day you receive them. You can test the headjoints at home and decide which one works best for you.

Here's our Try-Out policy:

There will be a shipping and handling fee for sending the headjoints to you.

If you decide to make a purchase, we will deduct the shipping fees from your invoice (including the return fee if applicable).

If you decide not to make a purchase, we will pay for the return fee and send you a check or use other methods of your choice (international wire transfer fee may apply).

We will also place a temporary hold on your credit card for the full amount, but your card will only be charged if you make a purchase or if any of the following situations occur:

If you decide to return the headjoints, please be aware that the postmark date on the returned package must be within the end of your try-out session. If it exceeds this time frame, the full charge will be applied to your credit card.

If a headjoint is returned with broken or missing parts, the damage will be evaluated and the cost of repair or replacement may be charged to your credit card.

It is important that you reuse the original shipping container and protection materials when returning the headjoints. If the headjoints are returned in inadequate packaging, any damage incurred during shipping will be charged to your credit card.

The Small Print
Please be aware that wooden flute headjoints can react differently to your playing and the local environment, so it's important to read our return policy carefully before making your purchase.

Return packages must be postmarked within 30 days of the delivery of your order. Return packages postmarked after this time frame will not be accepted.

Return packages postmarked within the first 14 days of the delivery date will be eligible for free return shipping. However, for packages postmarked after the first 14 days of delivery, a 15% restocking and shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Items returned with obvious scratches, unnaturally cracked, dented will not be accepted.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
The Information You Need to Know

As wood is a natural material, it is impossible to completely prevent minor shrinkage or expansion, even cracking from occurring over time due to the changes in the environment and use of the instrument.

If the product cracks, leaks, or malfunctions for any reason within one year and the issue is not caused by you, please send it back to us and we will send you an identical new one free of charge. (For an additional cost of $150, you have the option to purchase an extended warranty which will extend the warranty period to two years.)

After one year, we will still be happy to make repairs for you at a reasonable cost.

After one year, if the damage is not repairable, we will offer you a 30% off coupon for your next purchase (valid within three years) as an alternative solution.
